Do you provide & hide eggs?
No, but for a good reason! Our elaborate costumes make us stand out, making it difficult to hide them without children’s eyes glued to us.
All you need to do is provide and hide them, and we’ll lead the hunt for you so you can focus on the experience instead of managing it.
What is the largest event you can handle?
There is no limit. Our staff of 50 entertainers and full in-house event planning team allows us to reach for the stars!
You only have to talk to us once and we’ll set you up with repeating events every weekend all summer long, staff your 500,000-employee family day event, or make sure your summer camp has different entertainment each week.
Will you show up?
Their big day is a super big deal, which is why you get our 100% Arrival Guarantee:
If we break our streak of arriving to 99.6% of the parties we’re inviting for (except in the case of traffic or weather issues), we will refund you in full, AND give you a free show to keep or give as a gift.
Our staff of 50 gives us flexibility & have done crazy things to visit 18,000 celebrations like:
~ Flying hundreds of miles to cover a sick performer
~Walking a mile in the rain in a mermaid tail when the road was closed.
We are notorious for ‘making it happen’.

Here’s the scoop: Our entertainers are like child whisperers with a PhD in shyness (okay, not really, but they’re that good). We never force participation.
Instead, we might:
~Offer them a super important “assistant” role (who doesn’t want to be in charge of the magic wand?)
~Start with some chill one-on-one time (quiet face painting is like a secret shy child magnet)
~Use puppets or magic tricks that let them watch from their comfort zone
I once had a child who wouldn’t leave mom’s side… until I “accidentally” dropped my tiara. Suddenly, I had a brave knight helping this damsel in distress 🙂 By the end of the party, he was helping me lead the conga line through the living room.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel, you will receive 50% of your package cost back.
The remaining 50% cannot be applied to a new date unless you purchased Payment Protection.

What if the kids don't like the same things?

But seriously, we know kids are into different stuff which is why we designed our activities to be flexible. They adapt to any party size, age, and interest.
We always have something else in our back pocket to keep the party going!
What if my party isn't during 'business hours' and I need you. Who can I talk to?
Business hours don’t apply when you need to contact us on the event weekend. Our magic is available ’round the clock.
Need to get a hold of us at 9pm the night before your event because of a location change?
Can’t get a hold of your Performer (because they might be performing at another event before yours) and have an urgent question?
You will get a special emergency phone number that is connected to us 24 hours a day.
We know you want to relax on the big day and we have the behind-the-scenes support to make sure that happens.
What if something goes wrong? I'm having nightmares about party disasters!
First, you’re not alone.
Now, remember we’ve done this over 100,00 times since 2006! We’re like party ninjas (but with more glitter).
Bad weather? We’ve got indoor-friendly versions of ALL our activities.
Running behind schedule? We’ll adjust faster than a Silicon Valley algorithm.
Unexpected extra guests? The more, the merrier! We have activity plans for all situations.
At Happily Ever Laughter, we’re not just party entertainers – we’re your partners in creating unforgettable celebrations. So relax, grab a slice of cake (or the whole thing, we won’t judge), and lets make some magic on your child’s big day!
What do I need to provide?
We’ll handle the entertainment magic while you handle the party essentials.
We’ll bring all the activities while you focus on things guests need like tables, shade, chairs, and all the yummy treats to keep those partygoers fueled.
How many little ones can I invite?
The more the merrier, right? Right!
We have activity plans that work for any size group so every party animal has a blast.
What are the payment options?
We like to keep things easy peasy! We accept most major credit cards, and your full reservation fee is required to save the date.
If your organization has specific payment needs, we’ve basically seen it all after handling 100,000 events so we’re pretty sure we can accommodate yours!
Do I have to tip?
Nope. Being invited to party with you is incredible enough.
However, if you feel your entertainer pour their heart (and sometimes silly voice) into every moment, a tip would send them over the moon for a job well done.
Just ask them for their payment app handle after the party!
Who shows up to my event? Are they insured?
You will be meeting an employee of Happily Ever Laughter. We never contract outside entertainers because we want full control over quality.
We carry liability insurance (just in case our magic is a bit too powerful!) and you can request a certificate if your location needs one.
We are also covered by a worker’s compensation policy, have background checks, and most of our Performers are CPR certified (you can request a certified Performer if you prefer).
Each employee was selected from the top 5% of graduates from the most extensive training program for children’s entertainers in North America.
Will you look like you do on your website?
That’s a ‘yep yep’. 🙂
Because our Performers are employees of Happily Ever Laughter (as opposed to independent contractors), we are in complete control of quality.
We also are in control and provide all of their training so every single employee is up to our high standards.
All of our costumes and activity kits are made in house so we know every single item that goes out is picture perfect.
Can you come to a park, school, or restaurant?
You can invite us anywhere because our entertainment is designed to be flexible.
We love to visit houses, apartments, parks, schools, offices, or even the beach!
We travel all over the Bay Area, (including Santa Cruz and Marin), Los Angeles, and Sacramento.
Can I request a specific person who works for you?
We can take your request, but we might not be able to make it happen.
Why? To make sure that we reach every celebration we sometimes need to switch Performers around last minute due to illness, traffic etc.
The good news is all of our entertainment staff have graduated from Faerie Academy (the top children’s entertainment training program in North America), so we promise you will get a great entertainer.
This flexibility is how we have been able to attend 99.9% of the events that we have been invited to since we opened in 2006.
IMPORTANT: If this flexible scheduling doesn’t make you feel comfortable, please don’t make a reservation because we would be so sad to let you down if we needed to switch Performers!
