Congratulations – we loved meeting you online and want to invite you to the next step of your journey to becoming a Happily Ever Laughter performer!
You are officially invited to audition in person!

Part Three: (if you’re selected to stay): 115pm- 415pm (we may end earlier)

Part 1 is when you will attend a live show at the library to see if you like the job. If you enjoy the show, join us for part 2 of the audition on the lawn behind the library.
(The show starts at 11am sharp at the library, so please arrive early to find parking. Parking is not easy down there – heads up. )
During the show, stand near the back and observe. You’ll see 2 Faeries perform a typical show that you will learn how to perform. It’s a lot of fun 🙂

Part 2: 12:15pm-1:15pm
After the show, make your way to behind the library to the little park there by 12:15pm.
You’ll meet your fellow applicants (don’t worry, this is not a competition. If you seem like a good fit, we’ll hire you!) and play some improv games for 30-45 minutes.

Part 3: 1:15 – 4:15pm
If you make it through the improve games and seem like a good fit, you’ll be invited to stay for the last part of the audition.
The last part of your audition is a little longer (about 2-3 hours) because you’ll work with some simple props (like easy balloon twisting shapes) and also learn how we will train you to play with children in the Happily Ever Laughter style. This way you will better understand what it’s like to work here before you commit to the official training.
You’ll be told that day whether you made it through the auditions so you don’t have to wait.
Important things to know:
Timing:
Please give yourself plenty of time to drive, park, and walk in. We LOVE it when people are 20 minutes early.
Please do not be late, but if you are late, text us at (925) 338-4257 as early as possible. We would rather know you’re stuck in traffic an hour before you’re late versus not hearing from you until 3 minutes before we are set to begin.
Communication is key. You will not be invited to the audition if you are late and have not called in advance.
